The wicketkeeper-batter was a part of the Gujarat Titans squad and was picked as a replacement player for Jason Roy. Gurbaz didn’t get a chance to feature in a game last season and was transferred to the Kolkata Knight Riders for his base price of INR 50 lakh. He has made 3104 runs in 124 T20 matches so far at a strike rate of 150.24.

Andre Russell KKR | ALL

The Jamaican all-rounder was one of the top performers for the Kolkata Knight Riders last season. He made 335 runs in 14 games at a strike rate of 174.47 and picked 17 wickets at an average of 16.35.

Sikandar Raza PBKS | ALL

The 36-year-old all-rounder has been one of the best performers in T20 cricket in the last few months. He is ranked seventh in the ICC rankings for all-rounders in T20Is. In PSL 2023, Raza scored 223 runs in 12 games at an average of 37.16 and a strike rate of 179.83.

Nitish Rana KKR | ALL

He has been a part of the KKR’s squad since 2018 and has scored 1744 runs in 70 innings at an average of 27.68 and a strike rate of 135.61. He was the second-highest run-scorer for KKR last season and made 361 runs at a strike rate of 143.82. Rana will have to play a key role for KKR in the absence of Shreyas Iyer.

The 31-year-old bowling all-rounder made his IPL debut in 2015, and KKR will be his fifth franchise. He played for Delhi Capitals last season and picked 15 wickets in 14 games at an average of 31.53, an economy of 9.78, and a strike rate of 19.3.

Sam Curran PBKS | ALL

He made his IPL debut back in 2019 with Punjab Kings (fka Kings XI Punjab) and picked ten wickets, including a hat-trick. He was picked for INR 18.5 crores in the mini-auction and became the most expensive player in the auction’s history. A total of six teams participated in his bidding, and ultimately the Kings were successful. Curran won the Player of the Tournament in the T20 World Cup last year.
