It’s been 10 months since Gautam Gambhir announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. The left-hander was amongst the most popular cricketers in the country, especially after his two match-winning knocks in the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 World Cup Final. Even since, Gambhir has embarked on his journey as a politician and tasted immediate success in his second innings.

Gautam is now a Member of Parliament (MP) after winning the election from the East Delhi Constituency, beating Congress’ Arvind Singh Lovely and Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Atishi. Quite often, he has been seen, voicing his opinions on Twitter, surrounding a number of burning issues in the country. After his cricket career, he hasn’t stopped hogging the limelight by any means.

Apart from his professional career, the 37-year-old also has family responsibilities. He has a wife, Natasha Gambhir, to whom he got married way back on October 29, 2011 in Gurugram. The duo has a couple of daughters by the name of Anaiza and Aazeen. The elder of the two is Aazeen, who was born in 2014 and three years later in 2017, the couple welcomed Anaiza in their family.

Gautam Gambhir- A caring father

Gambhir has shown responsibility towards his loved ones and has also put up a number of posts, having fun with his family. Recently, he shared two pictures where in one of them, he was messing up while catching a ball and in the other, he was holding his two daughters. In the post, while he called himself a bad catcher as a cricketer, he called himself exceptional, being a father.

Lately, he uploaded another photo with Anaiza and Aazeen. This time, he was spotted washing the feet of his children. Meanwhile, Gambhir also tagged his better-half on the post, cheekily asking her about the place where he should send the bills for his services.

The southpaw captioned the picture and wrote, “As a dad of two young girls, I am gradually mastering my pedicure skills…besides seeking blessings on Ashtami Kanjak!!! @natashagambhir2 where should I send the bill for my services?,”
