The Delhi Capitals will be aiming to make it to the IPL final for the first time ever after registering their first ever win in the knockout/playoff round of IPL. They will be now up against the Chennai Super Kings who defeated them twice in as many games during the league phase. The Super Kings went down for the 3rd time in a row against Mumbai Indians this season and are forced to play the 2nd Qualifier to qualify for the final.

2Chennai Super Kings lost only twice in their last 12 IPL matches against the Delhi Capitals/Daredevils. The two victories for the Delhi franchise came in the 2015 and 2018 editions respectively.


15MS Dhoni has won as many as 15 matches as captain in the IPL against the Delhi franchise; the joint-most wins for a skipper against an opponent. Dhoni himself won 15 IPL games against the RCB. Dhoni led CSK and RPS across 21 matches and lost only in six.

65 – MS Dhoni has a batting average of 65 across the four Twenty20 innings he has played in Vizag. He has scored 130 runs with help of an unbeaten 64 which he scored the 2016 IPL.


99 – Chennai Super Kings need one more victory to become the 2nd team after Mumbai Indians to register 100 wins in the IPL. Delhi Capitals/Daredevils are one defeat away from becoming the 2nd team from India after Royal Challengers Bangalore to lose 100 Twenty20s.


326 – Runs Ambati Rayudu has scored in the T20s played in Vizag; the 3rd most by any player. Shikhar Dhawan is placed at No.4 having scored 322 runs in only nine innings at an average of 46.


623Shikhar Dhawan is one of the three players to score over 600+ IPL runs against the Chennai Super Kings. He has scored a total of 623 runs in 20 innings against CSK at an average of 36.64 with six half-centuries.
