In a generation where most of the cricketers enjoy their space in the social media, Team India speedster and death over specialist Jasprit Bumrah became the latest entrant in the world of twitter. All the previous accounts named Jasprit Bumrah was fake and this is the first time, the lanky fast bowler has made an account on twitter.

He posted a video for his fans saying about his introduction to twitter and asking everyone to click the follow button and get connected. Veteran offie Harbhajan Singh and Hardik Pandya welcomed Bumrah to twitter with their welcome tweets. It is pretty strange that in today’s generation and despite being a household name, Bumrah joined twitter only today.

Bumrah has been a terrific limited overs bowler and has excelled in most of the matches he has played in national colours. He has an exceptional ability to bowl Yorkers and slower ones on a consistent basis which leaves batsman searching for answers. He came into the reckoning during the T20I series in Australia and since then has left a lasting impact on any team he has played for.

Currently donning the Mumbai Indians colours in IPL, Bumrah was the sole reason that MI was able to clinch the nail-biting encounter against the Gujarat Lions via a super over. It was high-class bowling by the youngster as big hitters like Brendon McCullum and Aaron Finch failed to put bat on ball.

Despite conceding a wide and a no-ball after completion of just a solitary legal delivery, Bumrah held his nerves and executed his Yorkers and slower ones to perfection. McCullum was way too early in his shot as he failed to read his well-disguised slower deliveries. Meanwhile, Finch was beaten for pace as the fast bowler bowled in the block hole and never allowed the batsmen to get under him. Eventually, MI clinched the win by 5 runs in the super over/.
