Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir has become the latest cricket to get hitched as his wedding ceremony is expected to take place later this month in Lahore. The ceremony will be on the 20th of September. The 24-year old is currently recuperating after the conclusion of the massive tour of England.

Amir previously tied the knot with Nargis, a British Pakistani two years ago when he still was on the International Cricket Council’s banned list for match-fixing that took place in 2010 at Lord’s. The 24-year old also went on to add that his marriage to Nargis was only upon the approval of the parents from both sides.

Previously, after getting hitched, Amir told The Express Tribune, “I felt it was the right time for me to get into a relationship. One has to get a life partner at some stage of life, so I decided to do it now. I didn’t feel the need to wait any longer.”

Mohammad Amir made his much-awaited comeback to international cricket earlier this year upon the completion of his 5-year ban from the sport due to the events that occurred in 2010. However, since his comeback, Amir has been bowling like a man possessed with a string of impressive performances coming in the Asia Cup 2016, which served as a prelude to the World T20.

In spite of not making much of an impact in the World T20, Amir made his Test match comeback in the first Test between England and Pakistan at the scene of the crime – Lord’s cricket Ground. However, with his marriage also on the cards in Lahore, things seem to be going well for Amir at the moment.
