The day has come when Rohit Sharma has ended his journey in Test cricket after 11 years, just a month before the five-match Test series against England, scheduled to be played in June. Many former cricketers and experts have bid their farewells to the former India Test captain and legendary batter.

The list of people who have given a farewell to the two-time WTC (World Test Championship) finalist includes the God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, who shared a heartfelt post on his social media, reminiscing about the times he spent with the Mumbai batter in the Indian camp. He mentioned some iconic moments, including when he presented Rohit with his Test cap in 2013 and the day they stood together on the balcony of Wankhede Stadium.

"I remember presenting you with your Test cap in 2013 at Eden Gardens and then standing with you on the balcony of Wankhede Stadium the other day—your journey has been a remarkable one. From then to now, you have given your best to Indian cricket as a player and as a captain. Well done, Rohit, on your Test career, and best wishes for what lies ahead," Sachin wrote on his official X handle.
