Chris Jordan had joined the PBKS franchise in IPL 2020 but unfortunately, he has so far not been a reasonable entity. The malfunction of the other overseas pacers has also somewhat made him the premier overseas bowler but overall his numbers are apparently just as acceptable. Comprehensively, from his 12 IPL appearances, Jordan has scalped 11 wickets at an economy of 9.04.

However, in terms of his retention, the England pacer might face a cease as already the likes of Mohammed Shami and the young Arshdeep Singh will be in a big contention to continue with the franchise. Barring them, the management will also certainly pertain to pick its skipper KL Rahul or maybe the explosive batting of Nicholas Pooran, if he performs in the second leg. Some are also even affirming for a potential presence of Ravi Bishnoi, merely because of his effective leg-spin proposition.

Therefore, with many Indian players already looking to fetch their potential retention spots, it’s very unlikely that PBKS will give Chris Jordan an extension.
