1. Sri Lanka – 48:

Sri Lanka have the infamous record of having lost the most number of matches after conceding three hundred runs. It is surprising given the fact that they have produced world class bowlers like Chaminda Vaas, Muttiah Muralitharan, etc. The stat is also a reflection of the modern game where the batsmen have resorted to more of aggressive batting. Of late, Sri Lanka’s bowling has been less impressive. It was against Sri Lanka that Rohit Sharma scored 264 runs. They have lost 48 matches after having conceded 300 runs.
