The Best of 2017: 5 Interesting Twitter banters between the cricketers
The cricketers also get involved in conversations with each other and even troll each other on occasions, we list the best of those.
4. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma
After Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married in Tuscany Italy in a private ceremony, the Indian players took to Twitter to convey their best wishes to their captain and his wife and out of all those tweets, the classiest one was of Rohit Sharma.
The Hitman congratulated the couple first up and then he also had a remark each for Virat and Anushka. While Rohit promised Virat that he would share the “Husband Handbook” with him, he urged Anushka not to change her surname after the marriage something Indian ladies generally do.
Rohit and Anushka have the same surnames and the Indian ODI vice-captain clearly had an opinion that the original surname suits Anushka better. Also, his message to Virat suggests that he rates himself as a highly experienced husband now and also backs himself to help the newbies with his experience.
Virat, being a sport that he is, came up with an equally hilarious response as he told Rohit that while the husband handbook would be good, he would like him to share the “double hundred handbook” as well. Rohit is the only player in the history of ODI cricket who has three doubles hundreds to his name.
