In the 15th match of the season against Kolkata, Du Plessis fell just 5 runs short of what could have been a spectacular century but remained unbeaten throughout the game. His 95* (60) helped Chennai post a massive total of 220 in the first innings and they defended the score successfully to win the game by 18 runs. 5. 96 (55) vs Punjab in 2019 The South African star’s blistering 55-ball 96 runs ended up in a losing cause when the Punjab defeated Chennai by six wickets. The South African came very close to getting his maiden ton in the T20 league but was dismissed by Sam Curran.
