Narine came out all guns blazing and began dealing in boundaries right from the word go. He played a breathtaking knock of 85 (39) with the help of seven fours and as many sixes and got his team off to a fiery start.

2. Angkrish Raghuvanshi shines on debut IPL innings

The 18-year-old walked out to bat for the first time in the cash-rich league and immediately grabbed attention with his remarkable strokeplay. Raghuvanshi got involved in a massive 104-run stand for the second wicket with Narine off just 48 balls as he registered his maiden IPL fifty. He played a brilliant knock of 54 (27) with the help of five fours and three sixes prompting the crowd to applaud his exceptional talent.

3. Rishabh Pant scores second consecutive half-century

Unfortunately, he couldn’t save his team from a massive loss through his innings but gave a good sign of his form for the rest of the tournament.
