Indian Premier League (IPL) Teams and Players list 2025

The IPL (Indian Premier League) 2025 mega auction finally came to an end after two days of thrilling bidding between the 10 franchises. The mega event was held in Jeddah on November 24 and 25, and the 10 teams have managed to build strong squads ahead of the new season of the competition

The sides came into the auction with a purse of INR 120 crore, most of which was spent in the sides retaining their players. However, the franchises still managed to save up the budget needed to build a squad ahead of the new season of the IPL

The likes of Punjab Kings, Lucknow Super Giants, and Delhi Capitals were quite active in the auction, Punjab Kings roped in ace India batter Shreyas Iyer for a whopping price of INR 26.75 crore. Furthermore, star India batter Rishabh Pant broke records after he was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for 27 crore. Pant became the most expensive buy in IPL history

Furthermore, the likes of Venkatesh Iyer, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Arshdeep Singh managed to attract high bids as well. Several players had homecomings as well, Ravichandran Ashwin made his return to Chennai Super Kings, whereas Jofra Archer was roped in by Rajasthan Royals once more..
