Rishabh Pant grabbed a lot of eyeballs in the 2016 U-19 World Cup, due to his spunky batting performances. He played six games in the competition and scored 267 runs with two fifties and a hundred. With these numbers, he was the second-most successful batter for his team in the tournament.

His notable performance made him famous in the cricketing circle. In February 2017, he made his international debut and after two years, he also went to England to replace injured Shikhar Dhawan in India’s 2019 World Cup squad. Pant is also one of the players who has worked with Rahul Dravid in both junior and senior teams.
