PSL 2024 Stats

The Pakistan Super League returns for another exciting season of T20 cricket in 2024. The PSL 2024 begins on February 17 with the final to be played on March 18. The tournament will be played at four venues- Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan.

All matches begin at 8 p.m. IST. There are six doubleheaders this edition. On doubleheader days, the first game begins at 2.30 PM IST, while the second game begins at 8 PM IST.

Lahore and Multan will host the matches in the first phase of the league from February 17 to February 27. The second phase will be contested in Rawalpindi and Karachi from February 28 to March 12. The PSL 2024 playoffs will take place on March 14, 15, and 16, with the summit encounter scheduled for March 18 in Karachi.

The competition also has some coveted prizes up for grabs, with the tournament's highest run-scorer receiving the Hanif Mohammad Award and a green cap. On the other side, the PSL 2024's leading wicket-taker receives the Fazal Mahmood Award and a maroon cap. In addition, the Imtiaz Ahmed Award will be given to the PSL tournament's top wicketkeeper.

Hero of modern-era Pakistan cricket Babar Azam leads the run-making charts of Pakistan Super League with 2935 runs in 79 games and he will have the chance to add to those numbers in the upcoming edition. On the other hand, Wahab Riaz holds the record for most wickets with 113 scalps to his name. However, Hasan Ali will have a chance to become the second bowler to take 100 wickets in PSL when the ninth edition of the tournament begins.

Players not only play for their teams to win the tournament, but the PSL individual prizes also make them strive for personal brilliance. These awards ensure healthy competitiveness in the batters and bowlers and this makes the league exciting for the fans, as they keep checking the stats to see which batter and bowler is leading the charts.
