Royal Challengers Bangalore came to the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League under new leadership. Faf du Plessis was given the reins of the marquee franchise after Virat Kohli stepped down from the role. RCB showed a lot of promise and looked like going all the way in the 2022 season. However, they succumbed at the business end of the competition and lost the second Qualifier to Rajasthan Royals.

Bangalore seemed more or less certain with their team composition and this showed in the promising campaign. However, the Bangalore side would look to refine their side and they might part ways with certain players who do not fit into their scheme of things. Let us look at the cricketers RCB could trade in the forthcoming trading window.

5 Players RCB might trade in the trading window:

5. Suyash Prabhudessai

Suyash Prabhudessai has been one of the exciting prospects in the Indian domestic circuit. His batting displays at the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy over the last couple of seasons have caught everyone's attention. In the Indian domestic T20 competition, the 24-year-old has smashed 443 runs in 22 games at a strike rate of over 148.

RCB roped in the swashbuckling batter at this year’s Auction and gave him a fair amount of run at the early stages of the competition. But the Goa batter was not able to deliver as per expectations. In the five matches he played, he could only manage to score 67 runs at a strike rate of 113.56.

Suyash’s failure with the bat meant an opportunity for Mahipal Lomror. The southpaw played some crucial knocks for the side at the lower-middle order position. Though he scored only 86 runs in seven games, he hit them at a strike rate of 150.88. Given Lomror’s batting exploits, it is likely the Bangalore franchise will stick with him and therefore, one could see RCB part ways with Prabhudessai in the trading window.
