4. Shahrukh Khan (Punjab Kings)
Once deemed as an IPL beast in the making, Shahrukh Khan’s numbers have failed to live up to the hype. He never had the breakthrough season that was talked about so much from the begining. Shahrukh was bought for nine crores by the franchise but couldn't put up blazing performances and that is why the team might look forward to offloading the Indian uncapped player.
With Jitesh Sharma playing well in the middle, Punjab might look to save some bucks and invest in some other players in the auction. The team anyway chops and changes a lot every season and he (Shahrukh) can very well get the green signal to join some other team through the trading window.
The 27-year-old scored 117 runs at a strike rate of 108.33 in the eight matches he played in IPL 2022. A team looking for a spin allrounder, who has a reputation for biffing the ball well can definitely go after him.
