Sixteen matches are being held concurrently in the Elite Groups of the ongoing Round 4 in the Ranji Trophy 2024.
The Day 2 of the Round 4 in Elite Group was full of action as several marvellous performances were witnessed in the day. Narayan Jagadeesan scored a brilliant triple hundred for Tamil Nadu while Nitish Rana's century guided Uttar Pradesh to 324 in the first innings. Meanwhile, Uttarakhand Deepak Dhapola claimed a hat-trick against Delhi. On the other hand, in the Plate Group, Hyderabad's Tanmay Agarwal broke the record for most sixes in an innings in first-class cricket smashing 26 maximums. He also registered the fastest triple hundred in first-class cricket on Day 1 against Arunachal Pradesh reaching the landmark in just 147 balls.
