India vs Australia 2023 Squads

India and Australia prepare to go against one another in the much-awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Both teams will be looking to field the best possible squads as they look to book a spot in the WTC finals. 

Rohit Sharma (captain), KL Rahul (vc), Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KS Bharat (wk), Ishan Kishan (wk), R. Ashwin, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammad Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Umesh Yadav, Jaydev Unadkat, and Suryakumar Yadav are the Indian team’s squads for the first two Tests. Cheteshwar Pujara could prove to be the key player for the side, as he has the most runs (1893) in this batch of players in Border Gavaskar Trophy. 

Pat Cummins (captain), Ashton Agar, Scott Boland, Alex Carey (wk), Cameron Green, Peter Handscomb, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Nathan Lyon, Lance Morris, Todd Murphy, Matthew Renshaw, Steve Smith (vc), Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Swepson, and David Warner is the Australian squad for the series. Nathan Lyon could be the spearhead of the Aussies’ bowling attack as he has the most wickets (94) in the current squad.
