IPL 2018: Players who were sold at more than 10 times their base price
Here is a look at the players who earned more than 10 times their base price in the IPL Auction
12. Siddarth Kaul | SRH | INR 3 crores | Base Price: INR 30 Lakhs | 10 times
Kaul was part of the Indian team that won the 2008 Under-19 World Cup in Malaysia. He played a crucial role in the team’s victory and has since been making waves in the domestic circuit. He claimed a five-for on his first-class debut for Punjab in 2007-08. However, he failed to be consistent. Kaul played for KKR and DD before he was picked by SRH in 2016.
He is the last man on this list and was sold exactly at 10 times his base price. He had a good season for Sunrisers last year and looked impressive. In the 10 games that he played, he picked 16 wickets at an average of 18.75. Former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni also lauded him for his bowling last year. This saw many franchises showing interest in him. But it was the Sunrisers who spent ₹3 crores to acquire his services, yet again.
