After playing for so many years for RCB, Yuzvendra Chahal got an opportunity to play for Rajasthan Royals this year. When RCB decided to let him go, RR grabbed that opportunity with both hands and picked up this spinner for a reasonable price in the mega IPL auction.

He played a huge role in taking RR to the final of this year as he bagged 27 wickets in 17 matches. His economy was 7.75 along with an average of 19.52. Even in the final, he conceded only 20 runs in his four overs, picking up one wicket.

He finished the tournament as the Purple Cap holder but failed to win the final for his team. Chahal will look to continue his blistering form with the ball for India as well as he is picked for the upcoming T20I series against South Africa, starting next month.
