IPL 2022: Performance of the most expensive buy of each team
Mumbai Indians bought Ishan Kishan for a whopping INR 15.25 crore, the most expensive buy at this year's auction.
9. Rajasthan Royals – Prasidh Krishna (INR 10 crore)
There were a few raised eyebrows when Rajasthan Royals secured Prasidh Krishna for INR 10 crores. The tall right-arm quick has all the potential to be a great bowler, but he often disappoints with his inconsistencies.
Krishna didn’t have the best of times with KKR in IPL 2021 as he conceded over nine runs per over and returned with 12 wickets in ten matches. But the pacer impressed one and all with his performance for the national side in the ODI series against the West Indies.
The 26-year-old was one of the most improved bowlers in IPL 2022 as he was been able to generate pace and bounce out of the pitches and troubled batters with his nagging lines. Krishna took 18 wickets this year at 8.18 runs per over. His figures of 3/22 against RCB in the all-important Qualifier 2 was the highlight of his season.
