The fourth day of Round 3 of the 2019-20 Ranji Trophy turned out to be great for teams like Delhi, Gujarat and many more. In Elite Group A and B, Delhi registered a convincing seven-wicket win against Hyderabad to bag important points.

After Delhi was bowled out for 296 runs in the 1st innings, it looked like they might face a heavy defeat in the match but that was not the case. Their bowler Ishant Sharma, and Simarjeet Singh took four wickets each and dismissed Hyderabad at a lowly score of 69 runs. Their commendable show with the ball helped Delhi to take a big lead in the match. They also enforced the follow-on over Hyderabad.

However, Hyderabad came up with an improved performance in the second innings but that was not enough for them to make up for their poor show in the first innings. Hyderabad skipper scored a brilliant century and helped his side in taking a below-par lead of 83 runs against heavyweights Delhi.

Shikhar Dhawan (21 runs off 43 balls) and Dhruv Shorey (32 runs off 63 balls) helped their side in sealing the match with seven wickets in hand. On the other hand, Gujarat also registered an emphatic win by an innings and 90 runs on Day 4 against Kerala.
