South Africa’s tour of India 2015, Full schedule: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) divulged the full details of South Africa’s tour of India which will include 4 Tests, 5 One Day Internationals (ODI) and 3 T20Is. The tour will span over a total of 72 days. The Proteas will arrive on the Indian soil on the 29th of September. Mohali, Bangalore, Nagpur and Delhi have been chosen as the Test venues.

The tour will begin with the T20Is starting from the 2nd of October in Dharamsala. Cuttack and Kolkata will host the remainder of the two matches. The T20Is will then be followed by the ODIs beginning from the 11th of October and the Test matches starting from the 5th of November. The tour concludes on the 7th of December. The second test of the series to be played at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru will be the centenary test for the superman of cricket AB de Villiers.

The numero uno side in test cricket will look to improve its record in the subcontinent. Proteas will look to win the series this time considering the fact that they managed a draw each time on their previous two tours. It will be interesting to see how India’s Test skipper Virat Kohli matches upto Hashim Amla in his first real Test series at home.

The contest will also depend on how well the South African batsmen play the Indian spinners, as it is no mystery that the home team will look to play the matches on spinner friendly wickets and test the skill and application of their counterparts against quality spin on wickets assisting them.
