Pakistan would like to continue their sensational run as they take on New Zealand in their next assignment in the T20 World Cup 2021. The encounter takes place at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on October 26. Having recorded a historic 10-wicket triumph against arch-rivals India, Pakistan must be high on confidence and other teams must beware of them. On the other hand, New Zealand will kick-start their campaign with this clash.

Many loopholes in the Kiwi side were exposed as they lost their warm-up fixtures against Australia and England respectively. Although Kane Williamson’s men lost both practice games by narrow margins, they have some issues to address. With the UAE tracks being tired and slow, New Zealand batters need to put application to get runs. However, their bowling attack looks pretty formidable with Mitchell Santner, Trent Boult, and Lockie Ferguson in the ranks.

As far as Pakistan are concerned, they don’t have much to worry about. Shaheen Afridi breathed fire with the new ball against India and rattled their top order. The other bowlers also did pretty well. In the batting department, skipper Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan scored unbeaten half-centuries as Pakistan recorded a comfortable 10-wicket win.

Meanwhile, let’s look at important stats and numbers ahead of the 19th game of the T20 World Cup 2021:
