6. India/ West Indies/ Zimbabwe – 2 Hat Tricks

There is a tie between India, West Indies and Zimbabwe as there as twice in the history of ODI cricket bowlers form the countries have taken hat-tricks. Chetan Sharma was the third bowler in ODI cricket to take a hat-trick and the first Indian which he did against New Zealand at Nagpur in 1987. Kapil Dev former Indian World Cup winning skipper and all-rounder was the second and last Indian bowler to have registered one for himself when he took three for against Sri Lanka at Calcutta (now Kolkata). The paciest bowlers of West Indies modern era Jerome Taylor and Kemar Roach have secured one hat-trick each to make the count two for the Caribbean.
