ICC CEO David Richardson to step down following World Cup 2019 The International Cricket Council today confirmed that David Richardson will step down as ICC Chief Executive when his contract expires post next summer’s ICC Cricket World Cup. In 2002, Mr Richardson became the first person to hold the position of ICC General Manager – Cricket, and was promoted as the Chief Executive in 2012.
