Virender Sehwag slams wrestler Nurislam for his disrespectful act of biting Ravi Dahiya’s arm in semis of Tokyo 2020

The high-profile Olympics is underway and certainly, the social media is buzzing over the scheme of events. India’s Ravi Dahiya reached the final of men’s freestyle 57kg but what has caught many eyeballs is the disrespectful attitude he has had to face from his opponent. Kazakhstan grappler Nurislam Sanayev was spotted biting Ravi on his arm during the final minute of the match after he was knocked down by him. The former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag expressed his opinions on this disgraceful act.

Dahiya was trailing 2-9 in the semi-final bout but displayed his sheer flair by bouncing back and making it to the final. He became the second Indian wrestler to qualify for the summit clash of the Olympics. Sports is all about accepting both victory and defeat by maintaining the spirit of the game. Sehwag, who also noticed this incident, put forward his disappointment on this act as he slammed Sanayev on social media.

Sehwag took it to Twitter as he wrote: “How unfair is this, couldn’t hit our #RaviDahiya’s spirit, so bit his hand. Disgraceful Kazakh loser Nurislam Sanayev. Ghazab Ravi, bahut seena chaunda kiya aapne #Wrestling,” Many of his followers replied to his tweet echoing similar sentiments as that of him.

Virender Sehwag praises the Indian Men’s Hockey team for bagging bronze

The team is been praised by everyone for their incredible achievement. Sehwag also extended his wishes to the Hockey team and applauded them for their fightback. The success of the Indian athletes in the Olympics is a moment to savor for the nation and a medal in hockey after a span of 40 years goes down as a special achievement. He took it to Twitter to wish the team and termed that it is a landmark day for Indian Hockey.

He tweeted, “Chak De Fattey ! Burraaah A landmark day for @TheHockeyIndiaAfter being down 3-1, INDIA fights back to win the bronze medal match 5-3, a first Olympic medal in #Hockey after 40 years. Mazaa aa gaya #IndvsGer.”
