The auction for the 2019 season of the IPL is drawing close with the event being scheduled to take place in Jaipur, India this December. In the previous weeks, a lot of buzz was created around retained and released players by the different franchises. Various teams like the Rajasthan Royal, Kings XI Punjab, and Delhi Capitals have let go of several players which implies that they now have an abundance of money for the upcoming auctions.

The 2019 season is scheduled to take place from the 29th of March till the 19th of May. Owing to the fact that the 2019 World Cup is also scheduled to begin on the 30th of May, it will be a likely move from teams to ask their players to refrain from taking part in the 2019 edition of the IPL. However, some players like Steve Smith and David Warner will have to use the tournament as an opportunity to prepare for the World Cup after the ban imposed on them due to the ball-tampering saga.

Reeza Hendricks’ popularity has been circulating in the South African cricketing circles for a while now. Having made his debut in ODI cricket this year, he impressed by scoring a hundred runs in his debut versus Sri Lanka. The player has been in superb form for his club the Jozi Stars and is the first player to score a century in the Mzansi Super League.

Hendricks has scored a massive 359 runs from only 7 innings and this includes two consecutive centuries. It is highly likely that his availability for the entirety of the 2019 season will allow him to get paid big money in the auctions.

2. Nicholas Pooran

Being dubbed the ‘next big thing’ for West Indies cricket, Nicholas Pooran really has the ability to smash the ball and send it soaring over and above the ropes. However, it is not only this ability that sets him apart. He is also an outstanding player behind the wickets and is having a brilliant season with Barbados Tridents.\

He was previously bought in the auction by Mumbai Indians; however, he did not receive any game time. This could change after he made everyone notice him when he scored a brilliant half-century against India recently. Trying to predict scores on which to bet is a large part of what make the best online casino sites like Canada’s OCC, such a boon to sports betters everywhere.

The better sites out there offer excellent tips, written by experts – such as that the odds are 4.00 and 1.80 for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings respectively – as well as tons of great online games to spend your money on in between matches.

3. Shimron Hetmyer

The West Indian team has consistently been providing some of the biggest hitters to the IPL, and Hetmyer is the newest addition to the list. He has been in brilliant form in 50-over cricket and has already accumulated three centuries as well as two half-centuries to his name after having just played 18 innings.

In the recent ODI series that was played against India, Hetmyer tallied a massive 260 runs in 5 matches. The player’s ability to keep an eye on deliveries from spinners makes him a very dangerous to the opposition. His explosiveness and his usual position in the later part of the batting order will definitely make franchises compete for him, especially owing to the dearth of options because of commitments to the World Cup.
