There were lot of achievements in the Agarkar’s career which Indian fans would be proud off as he was the fastest bowler to bag 50 ODI wickets at one point. But later in 1999-2000, he bagged an unwanted record to his name as the former registered five consecutive ducks in a three match Test-series against Australia.

The right-arm-pacer scored his first duck in 1st Test at Adelaide and then followed it with pairs at MCG and SCG. Prior to his unwanted record of five consecutive ducks, Ajit Agarkar has scored a Test century at Lord’s and still holds the record for the fastest fifty by an Indian batsman.

Ajit Agarkar represented India in 191 ODIs, 91 Tests and 4 T20Is and has scalped 349 wickets across formats and was known as one of the most reliable pacers back in his times.
