West Indies had to lock horns with Team India back in 2014. They were scheduled to play five-match ODI series followed a T20I and three Tests. The visitors’ looked pretty strong and got off to a great start to their tour. They won the ODI series opener.

The second game got abandoned due to rain. But, in the third match, the Men in Blue marked a strong comeback and won it by a margin of 59 runs. Also, in 4th ODI, the hosts managed a convincing victory that helped them in taking a 2-1 lead against the visitors in the series.

Meanwhile, there was something the things between West Indies cricketers and West Indies Players Association. The players at that time said that they were forcefully asked to sign papers in which it was mentioned that all the sponsorship payments that players were supposed to get will be used in the development of first-class cricketers. By that time, nobody had a second thought in the mind that players will walk-over from the series.

Yes, Bravo’s team pulled out of the tour after the fourth ODI that was played at Dharmsala. So far it was the biggest controversy that rocked the cricket world. Moreover, it was quite embarrassing from the perspective of a nation.
