They could perform better if they are allowed to express themselves freely in the position they want.

Kane Williamson is one of the few overseas cricketers who have played only for one IPL team. In 2015, he was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad and the New Zealander has stayed with the franchise ever since. After a couple of sedate seasons (2015 and 2016), Williamson had a very good season in 2017. The New Zealand skipper scored 256 runs at an average of 42.67 and a strike-rate of 151.48.
In 2018, he was bought back by SRH and he eventually became the captain after David Warner was banned. He led the side beautifully and also won the Orange Cap as he amassed 735 runs in the season and drove SRH to the final. However, in 2019, he was on and off due to injury.
Moreover, with the return of Warner and inclusion of Jonny Bairstow, Williamson’s spot was constantly in question. It was also affecting the balance of the squad at times. Hence, if he loses the captain’s armband, Williamson may not be guaranteed a place in the XI. Thus, the Kiwi skipper deserves a better team where he can start in every single game.
