Rahul Dravid loved batting against England. And, the numbers that the right-handed batting legend generated against England in Test cricket stands testimony to this fact. Dravid played 37 innings against the England side and amassed 1950 runs at a whopping average of 60.93.

‘The Wall’ also scored 7 centuries and 8 half-centuries against the England side in his career. While he scored a flawless 217 at the Kennington Oval in the year 2002 in a drawn encounter, Dravid also scored a patient 148 at Headingley that allowed India to demolish England by an innings and 46 runs.

Dravid played a staggering 164 Test matches and scored 13288 runs at an excellent average of 52.31. The batting legend scored 36 hundreds and 63 fifties in his career. Dravid is also the second-highest run-scorer for India in Tests after Sachin Tendulkar.
