Ever since Manan Vohra started donning the KXIP jersey, everybody knew there was something special about him. He flourished briefly under the captaincy of Adam Gilchrist but soon faded into the shadows due to his lack of consistency. Vohra is the only uncapped player in the top 10 run-getters of this year’s IPL. He has two 30+ scores plus a blazing fifty that he scored against RPS so far from 4 matches. Needless to say, Vohra has become the batting mainstay for Punjab after repeated failures of their middle order.
