Rashid Khan played for the Lahore Qalandars in the first leg of the PSL, but he had to leave the team after only two matches as he was set to represent Afghanistan. In those games, he made sure of making an impact, both with bat and ball.

Though he got only one wicket, he was the most frugal bowler for the Sohail Akhtar-led Qalandars as he conceded runs at a tender economy rate of 5.50. Moreover, he played a handy knock of 27* off 15 balls against the Zalmi and took his team to a comprehensive four-wicket victory.

As far as his IPL 2021 exploits are concerned, he was on top of his game. In seven matches for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), he picked up 10 wickets. Moreover, the leg-spinner was also the most economical bowler for the Orange Army with an economy rate of 6.14.
