Ricky Ponting is known as the most successful skipper in the history of cricket who helped Australia in winning several big tournaments including two World Cups. Meanwhile, he is one of the best batsmen that Kangaroos have ever produced in their cricketing history.

He is just second to Sachin Tendulkar in terms of most runs in the longer format with 13378 runs in 168 matches. He also scored a total of 41 tons throughout his Test career. His stats are enough to speak about the calibre he possessed.

But, everything changes if we throw light on his record at the historic Lord’s Cricket ground. Overall, the former Aussie skipper ended up scoring only 134 runs in four Tests with a best of 42. He failed to account a single century on this ground to get his name etched on the Lords Honour Board.
