2. Jadeja’s furious reply to Sanjay Manjrekar
The phrase ‘bits and pieces’ went viral during the World Cup earlier this year. It was used by Sanjay Manjrekar to describe Ravindra Jadeja. The cricketer turned commentator was asked about Jadeja’s inclusion in the XI after Indian spinners went for plenty against England. It was then Manjrekar said he was not a fan of ‘bits and pieces’ cricketers like Jadeja.
Jadeja couldn’t take this and was furious. In fact, the Indian all-rounder took to Twitter to express his anger and give the current commentator a piece of his mind. He said that he has played twice the number of games than Manjrekar and the latter needs to learn to respect other people’s achievements.
Still i have played twice the number of matches you have played and i m still playing. Learn to respect ppl who have achieved.i have heard enough of your verbal diarrhoea.@sanjaymanjrekar
