The Under-19 champion tweaker Ravi Bishnoi who spearheaded the spinning unit has left no stones unturned to get into the eyes of the Indian national team selectors. On 21 January 2020, in India’s match against Japan, Bishnoi took four wickets without conceding a run, before finishing his spell with four wickets for five runs from eight overs and winning the Man of the Match award. To his credit, Ravi finished the tournament as the leading wicket-taker.

The budding talent possesses a plethora of skills in his wrist. Making an impact in the IPL, the 20-year-old bagged 12 wickets for the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) camp. Bowling at an economy of 7.36, he emerged as an experts’ delight after his consistent performances with the leather.

If he continues to baffle the batsman in the times to come, it will not be surprising to see the Rajasthan-born spin-king to burst into the national team under the leadership of captain Kohli.
