The Coronavirus pandemic has made the human life miserable. People across the world have been made to sit with an aim to break the transmission of the virus. The situation is similar in Australia as well with more than 6300 cases of the novel virus in the country. Most of the people including the current and former cricketers are in home quarantine at the moment and are coming up with some great online content.

The former Aussie cricketer Shane Watson has also done the same. He has launched a website a named T20 stars which includes blogs, vlogs and the podcast interviews. Introducing the same to his fans and followers he took to Twitter and requested them to visit the website which also has the first ever podcast interview of the great Sir Vivian Richards.

While he also hoped for the well being of the people across the globe, Watson wrote, Thinking of you all during these challenging times. One thing I have found during isolation is that there is a lot more downtime to work on things you love. I hope you enjoy what I have put together.”

Shane Watson gets a positive response barring a fan

Shane Watson got a positive response from the fans on Twittter soon and the 38-year-old duly responded to some of the fans as well thanking them for the same. However, one of the fans took a sly dig at his batting technique unnecessarily. Watson, during his playing days for Australia, was prone to getting out lbw too often and most of the oppositions used to try and pin him in front of the stumps.

He struggled with his shortcoming especially in Tests. But then, every batsman has a weakness and even then, players like cricket Shane Watson rise above all the difficulties and make it big. However, the fan, instead of giving him a feedback based on his new website, took a dig at his technique replying, “And he’s out. LBW.”

But Watson, being Watson, didn’t lash out at him or anything, just responded to him politely and hoped that he is safe during these tough times. “Hey Tom. Thanks so much for your great feedback mate. I hope you are staying safe,” his reply read.

Meanwhile, Shane Watson was expected to be in India now playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). But as things stand, it looks tough that the cash-rich tournament will go ahead this year.
