Aakash Chopra doesn’t think Sreesanth can make a comeback and the man was disappointed

Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra is a successful commentator now and that has also earned him a lot of value for his opinion. He enjoys a huge following across all social media platforms and fans are more than eager at all times to get his views on one or the other aspects of the game. Aakash also obliges to answer most of their questions on Twitter as well as Facebook.

When he tweeted about Gautam Gambhir’s comeback being a shortsighted one a fan asked him for his views on Kerala pacer S Sreesanth’s chances of making a comeback. Aakash was quite realistic and just replied with a no. Given the current scenario and Sreesanth’s relation with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) which has a clear stand of not allowing him access to any form of professional cricket Aakash’s answer seems quite apt to be fair.

The man in discussion Sreesanth also came across the tweet and was rather put down when he read that the former Indian opener doesn’t think he can script a comeback. He reassured him that no matter what the circumstances and scenarios suggest he is determined to make his way back to the team again. Sreesanth replied to Chopra’s tweet and wrote- “I will make a comeback brother..can’t believe u don’t believe that I will play again..anyways God bless us”

Recently he had attempted to shift his base to Scotland and wished to play club cricket there which would also make him eligible to be a part of the national team. He had written to the BCCI for an NOC which would relieve him from his commitments in India and allow him to pursue his career as a professional cricketer in Scotland. But the board clearly denied it and he was once again left with no option but to wait for matters to clear out.
