When two top-notch sides like India and Australia collide, it is a treat for every cricket enthusiast. One such treat is due today when Virat Kohli‘s men will take on David Warner’s soldiers. While the Aussies might have been humiliated in the ODI series, they have made a good comeback in the T20Is winning the second match after going down in the first, to square things.

Now it is time for the decider, and billions of Indian loyalists will follow the match closely. Among the thousands, one notable mention is Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who will be present at the stadium to witness the final showdown.

Reason behind the sudden visit

While Aamir was seen cheering for MS Dhoni‘s men during the final match of ICC World Cup 2011, a superstar attending this game at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad was not expected, as many would say. However, it is understood that the skipper himself convinced the actor to attend the match when the two met for the Diwali episode of a popular TV talk show.

While Kohli is occupied in assessing his team ahead of the match, Aamir Khan is busy with the promotions of his upcoming movie ‘Secret Superstar’. While Aamir showed Kohli the trailer of his movie, the batsman offered him an Indian jersey, which Aamir will carry to the stadium.

“When Virat invited Aamir to the match, he instantly included it in his schedule. He will be seen attending it with Zaira Wasim. Aamir will meet the team before the match. He is also carrying his blue jersey that Virat gifted him,” said a source, as per reports in NDTV Sports.

The source further revealed that Mr Perfectionist will be put up in the same hotel where Kohli’s men are staying. “They bonded big time. Virat is usually media-shy, but he fed off Aamir’s energy on the show. Both of them were at their candid best,” the source concluded.
