Australian batsman Aaron Finch recently announced the news of his engagement on the social media to Amy Griffiths. The swashbuckling batsman has been dating Amy Griffiths for quite some time now. The couple was also spotted roaming in the streets of Kolkata recently when Finch had some off time from the game.
The 29-year old batsman, who has the record of scoring the highest T20 international score, broke the news of his engagement on Instagram and his Facebook handle on Wednesday. He posted a picture of himself with his fiancée with the caption ‘She said yes!!!! #wereengaged’. Amy Griffiths also posted a picture on her Instagram account and announced the news of their engagement.
Aaron Finch is going through a terrific run at the moment in the IPL and perhaps this was the best time for him to propose his girlfriend. Finch is representing the Gujarat Lions in the IPL and the team has been doing decently well so far. It was Finch, who led the side to their first three victories of the season. He bagged three consecutive Man of the Match awards following his back-to-back half centuries. It was after this that Amy Griffiths had applauded the effort of her beau.
She exclaimed she was proud Finch’s hard work and efforts. The lady seemed hard work impressed as she had tweeted then, “3 games. 3 wins. 3 consecutive 50s. 3 consecutive man of the matches. Well done @AaronFinch5 couldn’t be happier and prouder of you! #MIvGL”

Gujarat Lions will next play their match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore sans their skipper Suresh Raina and the team would be hoping that the Aussie will shoulder the responsibility and take the side to another victory.
