India and Australia share a healthy rivalry when it comes to playing the game of cricket. The cricket between these two countries is electrifying, to say the least, and respect between the players of the teams is immense. Many of the players share a personal friendship with one another and this is also due to the Indian Premier League, as players play with one another during that time.

Recently, India played Australia a lot in a short span of time, with T20I, Tests, and ODIs in Australia and then another T20I and ODI series back in India. This led to the Aaron Finch-led side build a bond with Virat Kohli’s Men in Blue. The Aussie captain also revealed that he received something special from the Indian captain and one of the best wicketkeepers in the world.

Finch reveals gifts from Kohli and MS Dhoni

Aaron Finch had led the Australian side to both T20I and ODI series wins in India, after Glenn Maxwell led the Kangaroos to a 2-0 drubbing in 20-over format, while the team made a spectacular comeback from 0-2 to win the ODI series 3-2 away from home, putting an end to a sad run of affairs at home.

Aaron Finch has now shared on Instagram that he had received some special gifts in the form of India team jersey from both Kohli and Dhoni, with Dhoni signing the back of his.

Finch shared the photo with the caption, “Thank you @virat.kohli & @mahi7781 Very lucky to have been given a shirt by both guys during the last series we played against India. Whilst we battle it out hard for our countries on the field, the respect I have for 2 of the games all time greats is huge! It’s important to take some time to be grateful and appreciate the opportunities we have been given!”

Meanwhile, Aaron Finch has been chosen to lead the Australian defense of its World Cup title in England and Wales come May 30. The five-time World Champions are bolstered with the returns of their two batting stalwarts in Steve Smith and David Warner in the squad.
