AB de Villiers celebrates wife Danielle’s birthday

Danielle de Villiers, South African cricketer AB de Villiers’s wife, today celebrates her birthday. Danielle, who lives and works in Cape Town, turned 27.

AB de Villiers expressed his joy through an Instagram post. He captioned the picture: “My wife, you are such a special woman, such a special mother! We are so fortunate to have you in our lives…Happy birthday here’s to many more”

The couple married in the year 2013 after De Villiers proposed Danielle romantically at the Taj Mahal during IPL 5. The pair met for the first time 9 years ago at AB’s father’s lodge in his home town Bela-Bela in Limpopo.

The couple has a son Abraham. Interestingly, the De Villiers family now has three generations of Abraham. AB de Villiers is named after his father Dr Abraham Benjamin de Villiers while his son also shares the same name.

The multi-talented cricketer, who is hailed as the best modern day cricketer, is known for his humble personality off the field and is a gem of person when comes showing his love his family.

Apart from mesmerising his fans with his awesome stroke play, the ace South African also knows how to woo his lady love, Danielle de Villiers. De Villiers has not shied away from wooing his wife in public with guitar and songs.

On such incident was during the IPL 2016 when sat down with a guitar and sang a beautiful song for his wife. His franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore also shared the video where De Villiers can be seen fabulously singing Ronan Keating’s ‘When You Say Nothing At All,’ song which he learnt when he was 11 years old

Danielle also is an avid music lover like her husband. In the same season, she was seen singing David Guetta’s hit number Titanium with AB de Villiers RCB teammate Shane Watson.
