The 1st semi-final match of the 2020 ACC Western Region T20 will be played between Bahrain and Kuwait at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground Oman Cricket (Ministry Turf 1).

Bahrain stunned in form Qatar by a huge 9-wicket win as they chased down the 107-run target in only 11.5 overs on Tuesday. That win helped them to top Group A by edging past Qatar’s NRR. In this process, they knocked out the home team Oman who earlier lost to Qatar. The home side were considered favourites to finish as runners-up if not for being the champions of the tournament. Bahrain will now take on Kuwait who got better of Saudi Arabia and Iran by big margins in Group A to finish 2nd.
