Acting is more challenging than cricket: Sachin Tendulkar

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar today released the teaser of his biopic “Sachin A Billon Dreams”. After unveiling a couple of posters in the last week, Sachin today shared the teaser through his Facebook and Twitter account at 1 pm.

Following which he was quoted saying that acting proved to be a more challenging task for him than playing cricket since it comes to him naturally.


The biopic is directed by London-based award-winning writer, director and producer James Erskine, its produced by 200 Not Out while the music is taken care by the Academy award winner and a legend himself A.R. Rahman.

Sachin was at an event in Mumbai and was quoted saying, “For so many years, I did whatever I wanted to do and camera captured that. But then suddenly, I was asked to do particular things, and then camera captured that,”

He said that playing cricket was a better option for him and that he would still say that he enjoyed playing the game more than acting. “That was a bit difficult thing for me. But believe me the first option was a better option. Acting is not something which I dreamt of. Without any doubt it is more challenging for me than playing cricket, I enjoyed that (cricket) more,” he said.

To launch the teaser to the world Sachin Tweeted, “A journey made special by your support and wishes. Presenting the teaser of @SachinTheFilm #SachinTeaser”.
