Actors who play key roles in MS Dhoni - The Untold Story

The trailer of ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’, the biopic of Indian limited-overs skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni was released last week and has created a lot of buzz all around the country. After watching the exciting trailer fans are eagerly waiting for the movie to release.

The film covers not just Dhoni’s successes but the entire cricketing journey. The film is coming out before his retirement, which makes it that much more interesting. The trailer was an instant success on YouTube with 6 million-plus views in less than 24 hours.

Dhoni’s life has had a lot of significant characters and thus the movie will also have the roles of several Indian cricketers in the likes of Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar.

Even though the makers haven’t revealed all the actors starring in the movie apart from the lead here is the list of actors who played the important roles in the much-awaited movie:

1. MS Dhoni – Sushant Singh Rajput:

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput will portray the role of captain cool MS Dhoni in the biopic.

2. Yuvraj Singh – Herry Tangri:

Herry Tangri will be seen playing Yuvraj Singh. The actor said that he played cricket at the district level, but he is a right-handed batsman. His coach Mohit Chaturvedi helped him to play left-handed. He had to undergo a month or so of training.

3. Suresh Raina- Ram Charan:

Tollywood star Ram Charan will be seen as Suresh Raina, who we all know is very close to Dhoni.

4. Sakshi Dhoni – Kiara Advani:

Kiara Advani will play Sakshi in the film MS Dhoni – The Untold Story and we are all eager to know how well she reflects their chemistry on the screen.

5. Priyanka Jha (Dhoni’s ex-girlfriend) – Disha Patani:

Disha Patani will essay the role of Dhoni’s ex-girlfriend in the biopic. She is all set to make her Bollywood debut with the role.

6. Jayanti Gupta (Dhoni’s sister) – Bhumika Chawla:

Bhumika Chawla from the Tere Naam fame will play the role of MS Dhoni’s sister Jayanti Gupta.

7. Pan Singh (Dhoni’s father) – Anupam Kher:

Anupam Kher is MS Dhoni’s father in the movie.

8. Zaheer Khan – Gautam Gulati:

TV actor Gautam Gulati, who had actually auditioned for the lead role will play the role of Zaheer Khan in the film.
