9 – As many as nine Ireland batsmen were dismissed LBW or Bowled in this game. Only Kevin O’Brien was out caught during the Irish innings. There are five other innings that included as many as nine bowled/LBW dismissals in ODI cricket.

A long inning from Stirling:

2010 – Stirling is the first batsman to face 150 or more deliveries in an ODI inning without scoring a century since the start of 2011. Vusi Sibanda scored 95 off 162 balls in the 2010 Providence ODI against the Windies.

Dawlat @ 100:

101 – Dawlat Zadran completed 100 wickets in ODI cricket. He is the third player after Rashid Khan (119) and Mohammad Nabi (115) to complete 100 wickets in this format for Afghanistan.

A record partnership to Ireland’s rescue:

76 – The 76-run stand between Stirling and George Dockrell is the highest partnership for a 7th or lower wicket in the ODI format for Ireland. The pair surpassed the 74-run stand between Kevin O’Brien and Andrew White for the 7th wicket in the 2006 Belfast ODI against England.

A failure by Rashid’s standards:

1/30Rashid Khan finished with figures of 1/30 in his ten overs; his 4th worst bowling figures among the 25 ODI matches he played in Asia. Rashid went wicketless in the 2017 Noida ODI against Ireland; the only time he failed to pick a wicket in an ODI in Asia.
