After dismissing Virat Kohli on the field, Rashid Khan terms him 'classical'

The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were left heartbroken after they agonisingly fell short of the chase of 219 runs against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Their bowlers were on the receiving end for a change as the batsmen of the home side hunted the leather brutally. While all the bowlers went for runs and were expensive in their four-over spells, the wily leg-spinner Rashid Khan gave away only 27 runs while picking three wickets including that of Virat Kohli who feels that it really a special feeling bowling to the Indian captain.

The champions stand up in the most difficult circumstances which is what Rashid did for the Orange Army. When AB de Villiers started going berserk in the powerplay, he was handed over the ball in the 5th over to scalp the dream duo of the RCB. He responded almost immediately and castled Kohli with a googly. He flighted the ball and enticed the batsman to go for the big shot, but the RCB skipper failed to pick the variation only to see stumps in tatters.

This was only the start of his spell as he came back for his last spell in the 15th over and sent back the set batsmen De Villiers and Moeen Ali. Those were the timely breakthroughs for SRH with both of them playing aggressively and were putting immense pressure on the bowlers. He returned with the figures of 3/27 in a game during which more than 420 runs were scored in 40 overs.

No wonder Rashid Khan was thrilled to see the back of the most important batsman of the opposition and it was not the first time that he had scalped the wicket of the best in the business. Even Virat Kohli is known to admire the opposition players a lot as his respect towards Mohammad Amir of Pakistan is well known to the World. Similarly, he took time out to meet Rashid after the match as the latter loved his gesture and took to Twitter expressing the feeling of bowling to him.
