Former Indian cricketer Akash Chopra got involved in a war of words with a Pakistani user on Twitter. After Team India’s shocking loss to West Indies in the 4th ODI, Chopra took to Twitter to point out that India’s last 3 losses in ODIs have come against low ranked teams as they lost to West Indies, ranked 9th in the ODI rankings, at the hands of Pakistan – ranked 8th and Sri Lanka – ranked 7th.

It has to be noted that Chopra mentioned the ranks of the team when they defeated the Indian team who are placed 3rd. His comparison of India losing to lower ranked teams didn’t go down well with Pakistan fans especially after they thrashed the Men in Blue by 180 runs in the finals of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. Chopra tweeted saying, “Woke up to realise that India lost to WI. Pinched myself. So, India’s last three ODI losses are to teams ranked 9th WI, 8th Pak & 7th SL.”

A user by the name Aisha replied saying that, Team India bosses only in their own backyard. “Gharr k shair team india” she replied to Chopra’s post, to which the former India International replied, “Aap toh rehne do please…aapka toh apne hi ghar mein ghusna mana hai.”

Of course, Chopra didn’t intend to demean a team that just scripted a fairytale two weeks ago, but he couldn’t let that get the better of India.

Spot-on reply

To Chopra’s aggressive reply which pointed out Pakistan doesn’t even have a home to play cricket, another user by the name of Ali Akber Magsi got involved tweeting, “Ham dusron k Ghar m ghus k Marty hn janab.Geedron ko apnay Ghar nh ghusnay dete. Shikast ki adat dal,lo ab.”

Aakash wasn’t willing to let it go and posted a reply which ended the conversation. He wrote, “I agree…aapke bahut log India mein ghus rahen hain. Roz encounters ki khabar aati hai. By the way, why isn’t Pak playing cricket at home?
