‘Always cool’ – Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin wishes to see MS Dhoni leading CSK for more seasons

Stalin stated that MS is now a loveable boy of Tamil Nadu.

Chennai’s heartthrob and the former legendary skipper of India, MS Dhoni, recently stated that he is still not very sure about his participation in IPL 2022. He added at the end of IPL 2021 also that a lot depends on BCCI and with two new teams coming in, it remains to be seen how things pan out. He also added that he wishes to play his last IPL match in front of the Chennai crowd.

In the same line of events, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin opened up on Dhoni and stated how he and his father are skipper’s absolute fans. Stalin threw light on an instance wherein N Srinivasan invited him as a CM but he chose to walk up as a pure Dhoni fan. Talking on qualities of the legendary skipper, Stalin stated that he is always cool and knows well to deal with difficult times.

The CM went on to congratulate the Ranchi stalwart for winning the fourth title with CSK and added that he wishes to see him play for Chennai for many seasons. After enduring a terrible IPL 2020, CSK returned in style in IPL 2021 to lead the yellow franchise to yet another glory.

“Although N Srinivasan called me as the Chief Minister, I came as a fan of Dhoni and even my father Karunanidhi was a fan of Dhoni. His state is Jharkhand but he is now like a loveable boy of Tamil Nadu. He is always cool and knows how to deal with difficult times,” said MK Stalin in an event as quoted by NDTV.

“He is a great captain and good at leading the team. I hereby congratulate him and the entire franchise of CSK on winning this year’s IPL. We really wish to see Dhoni playing for CSK for many more seasons,” he added.

Lucknow and Ahmedabad are two new teams that will enter the mega auction and it remains to be seen if MSD graces the Indian T20 League with his presence yet again.
